NEAR Summership: A summer in the metaverse
Ready to become a web3 rockstar?
As the summer season approaches, many students and web3 enthusiasts are on the lookout for internship opportunities to strengthen their resumes and put their skills to the test. Aware of the immense potential and talent of the young community of the Balkans, NEAR Balkans Hub has put together a paid summer internship program with the aim of creating web3 skills that will enable the participants to actively participate in the creation of projects on the NEAR protocol.
What is NEAR Balkans Summership?
NEAR Balkans Summership is a summer internship program created by NEAR Balkans Hub, a regional NEAR ecosystem blockchain hub that supports ambitious community members ready to join the Web3 realm. The goal of our program is to get you prepared to join us in a full-time team position in the future, which is the most exciting part for us!
The Program was created with the goal of providing you with the opportunity to gain Web3 knowledge and experience that will guide your Web3 career while also providing you with the opportunity to grow with like-minded individuals from the Balkan region.
This year’s Summership will be focused on web3 ambassadors development and will take place from June 1 to September 18, 2022.
The NEAR Balkans Summership 2022 will accept 7 web3 Local Ambassador Interns who will receive a stipend. During 15 weeks of practice, you will have access to an arsenal of Web3 and NEAR protocol education programs, workshops, and certifications, as well as mentorship spaces for specific fields of your interest, helping you hone your skills and gain relevant Web3 experience.
An important aspect of your practice will be working on existing projects with experienced individuals from the partner company, giving you the opportunity to get first-hand experience in Web3 marketing, event organization, community management, and business development. You will also meet and engage with the blockchain regional and local community and experience how different departments work together.
You will be working with an international team of NEAR enthusiasts, making an impact on Web3 in different local realities. You will be working remotely, enjoying flexible working hours and a monthly stipend.
The internship will offer you many networking opportunities and meetings with our partners to discuss professional development as well as get to know the different parts of the company. The program aims to help you find your career path and role within our team, and who knows, maybe in the following years, you will be one of our mentors for your Web3 role for the next young internship generation!
The wait is finally over! Applications will open on Monday, May 9th and close on Monday, May 23rd.
